Join a Sixth Form that puts your success first. With exceptional academic and pastoral support, we’re committed to helping you achieve your ambitions.

Whether your goal is a top university, an apprenticeship or an exciting career, our dedicated team will guide and support you every step of the way.

  • Wide range of A Level courses

  • Personalised support throughout your studies

  • A thriving, supportive Sixth Form community

Your Sixth Form experience is what you make it, we want to support you in making the most of your experience.

To ensure that you have a positive experience and are ultimately successful we have:

HIGH EXPECTATIONS – We expect you to be aspirational, to strive to achieve your targets and goals. We will guide and support you as well, but it will be vital that you understand how you can influence your own success whilst in the Sixth Form. You will need to be fully committed in terms of attendance, work ethic, behaviour, dress code, time management and personal organisational skills.

Lesson and Tutor Times: These are compulsory, and you are expected to arrive punctually and ready to fully engage.

Sixth Form Study: There will be timetabled private study sessions for Year 12 and 13 students, where you will be registered and expected to work quietly and independently. At A Level you are expected to do a great deal of independent research and wider reading. You should be spending an additional five hours per subject per week outside of lessons on homework and additional research

Work Life Balance: Maintaining a sensible life balance is necessary. Part time work and social life are significant but balancing these with your studies is key to avoiding stress whilst still enjoying your time at the Sixth Form. Therefore, we advise that you limit paid work to ten hours per week and legally you cannot work during the school day.

Academic Monitoring: We expect you to push yourself to meet your full potential. To support this your progress will be measured and monitored across the year. Intervention to support you will be put in place if you are underachieving.

The Sixth Form Community: We are an inclusive and welcoming environment; it is important that you treat everyone in a respectful and friendly manner and how you would like to be treated.

This is a workplace and we do not tolerate drugs, smoking, vaping, alcohol, bullying of any kind or harmful and discriminatory behaviour. We expect you to show equality and diversity to all, reporting any concerns to a member of The Sixth Form team.
