Teacher of English

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Mainscale - UPS

Hours: Full time

Start Date: 1 September 2025

The Chase is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to teach English across KS3, KS4 & KS5.  You will be joining a very successful and supportive department. Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

Contract: Maternity Cover for roughly one term

Salary: MPS/ UPS

Hours: 3.5 days per week, working Monday afternoon, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  Additional hours will be considered.

Start Date: September 2025

Learning Support Worker (also known as Teaching Assistant)

Hours: 22.2 hours per week (3 days a week)

Contract: Fixed Term for 1 year, Term Time Only + 1 TE day

Grade: TA1 (Pts 2-4)

Actual Salary: £12,249.08 to £12,636.39 per annum

Start date: 1st September 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant for 22.2 hours per week term time only plus 2 TE Days at The Chase in Malvern. This role is varied, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who can cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. 

Job Requirements:

• Working with a wide range of class teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning.

• Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability

• Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners.

The right candidate will have:

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.

• Previous experience of working with children and/ or administration

• A proven ability to work on their own initiative.

• A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.

• Proven ability to use relevant technology/equipment.

• A can-do attitude.

• A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
