Learning Support Assistant x2
Hours:
1st position – Full Time 32.17 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
2nd position – Part Time 20 hours per week (3 days a week)
Contract: Term Time only + 1 TE day, Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2028
Salary: TA1 (Pts 3-4) £25,185 - £25,583 per annum pro rata
Start date: 1st September 2026
The Chase is looking to appoint two motivated and supportive Learning Support Assistants (also known as Teaching Assistant - Level 1), to work with students across Key Stages 3 & 4. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to achieve their full potential. One position will be full time and the other position will be part time for 3 days a week (depending on the successful candidate's availability and school needs).
Key responsibilities:
• Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and learning activities in the classroom;
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning, particularly in core subjects;
• Assist with classroom organisation and resources;
• Provide support for students with additional needs, including SEND;
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement across the school.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A caring, patient and positive attitude;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• An understanding of the challenges faced by secondary-aged students;
• A willingness to learn and follow instructions;
• Experience working in a school environment or with young people (desirable but not essential).

Inclusion Administration Support
Hours: Part Time 30 hours per week
Contract: Term time only plus 1 TE day, Permanent
Grade: Scale 3 (pts 5-6)
Salary: £17,901.19 - £18,185.28 per annum (Actual salary)
Start date: 1st September 2026
The Chase is offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our school’s inclusion provision, helping to ensure that all pupils can access a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment where barriers to learning are identified and addressed effectively.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of our SEND team to support the coordination and delivery of inclusive practices across the school. This includes maintaining accurate records and data systems, co-ordinating communication, supporting early intervention processes and assisting with targeted provision to ensure pupils receive the right support at the right time. .
