School Admissions

Admission to The Chase School

The Chase is a comprehensive school. We believe that education is a right and all children, regardless of their social, economic or cultural background, prior learning or educational need should be given access to a secondary level education that allows them to progress to the next academic or training level.

Worcestershire County Council coordinate all Year 7 applications and oversee finding your child a school place. Places will be offered on Friday 1 March 2024.

As an Academy, The Chase School has its own Admissions Policy, which can be read alongside Worcestershire County Council’s published Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme for Secondary Schools.

To view our current Admissions Policy and Worcestershire’s FAQS for High School Places 2024 see further reading below.

If you wish to transfer your child to The Chase School you will need to complete Worcestershire Children First’s online application and ensure an Education History Form is completed by your child’s current or most recent school –  click here to access the forms. Please ensure you have read our Admission Policy which is located below.

Standard in-year applications for school places in September 2023 will be considered following the May half term school holiday. We would therefore advise that to ensure that your application will be considered for September, you apply mid-June. If you apply later in July and/or during the school holidays, there is no guarantee that your application will be processed in time for a September start.
