Here at The Chase we provide our students with a full Careers Education programme designed to inform and inspire our students and to fully prepare them for after their time in education.
Every student from year 7 – 13 has the opportunity to explore their future career pathways by taking part in Industry Days and Employer Visits, attending Careers fairs both in school and in the wider vicinity for example the Worcestershire Skills Show, signing up for Apprenticeship workshops and mock interview practice, going to taster days at local colleges and our sixth form too, and visiting Universities and attending the annual UCAS Fair to find out more about Higher Education.
Students in year 12 take part in a two week work experience programme.
In addition to this students also have access to the schools careers adviser for 1:1 guidance interviews from year 9 upwards and for those in year 7 & 8 every Tuesday lunchtime they can drop in with any questions or information requests (All years are welcome to drop in, the school careers adviser will be on the Concourse area every Tuesday Lunchtime)
