The U16 mixed team came from behind to beat John Masefield U16s mixed team in their final match together. At end of the first half the Chase team were 1-0 down, but they dug deep in the torrential rain and hit the woodwork twice before scoring an equaliser from a penalty corner by Sophie Stokes who also won the Player of the Match Award. Soon after Jonathan Skipper deflected a home goal for a 2-1 lead before Sarah-Jane Ollis completed the win with a penalty corner goal scored with the final touch of the game to finish 3-1 winners. A great effort was seen by all and as PE staff it has been a privilege to see you play; your commitment does not go unnoticed. All the best with your GCSE exams.
