The Chase performs at Malvern PrioryPosted on 17/11/2017
Students from The Chase performed to a large audience at Malvern Priory on Thursday the 9th November. This was part of the Lunch Box concert series where speakers and musicians in the area are invited to perform for the local community and beyond.
Our students were wonderful ambassadors for the school and it was an enjoyable and varied concert. Items ranged from solo performances by Will Scargill (Year 10), Lizzie Jones (Year 11) and Fabian Sturman (Year 10), to a string quartet (Sophie Combes Year 8, Thea Wilson Year 9, Charlotte Neville Year 9 and John Hume Year 11) culminating in a large group performance of the Benedictus from The Armed Man which included an exquisite cello solo performed by Thea Ramsey (Year 11).
The organisers of the concert were very appreciative:
‘Thank you very much for bringing your musicians and singers to Lunch Box today. It was a lovely concert, much enjoyed by all who attended.
Thank you for all the time and preparation that went into this entertainment.
