From the Director of Sixth Form
I am extremely proud of the Sixth Form at The Chase. Students and staff work together to achieve consistently excellent results and they do so without sacrificing any of the marvellous extra-curricular, charitable and other enrichment programmes that continue to make the Sixth Form such an attractive place in which to learn.
Our Open Evening will be held on 27th January 2010 - 19:00 to 21:00
I do hope that you will decide to continue your post-16 study at The Chase. Whether you are one of our Year 11 students, or someone currently at another school or college, you will find that The Chase Sixth Form is a stimulating environment. You will be able to speak to students and staff about the courses that interest you and to collect departmental leaflets.
Whatever your abilities, interests or aptitudes, The Chase has a great deal to offer. Among the most successful Sixth Forms in Great Britain, it boasts an outstandingly successful relationship between staff and students. My confidence in the high standard of teaching on offer led to my son applying for a place here. Consistently acknowledged in national league tables for its excellence of attainment in AS/A2 and AVCE, the achievements or our students are stunning. In 2005, the average points score for our students was 338. This equates to two A grades and one B grade per person. This tremendous result ensured that we once again appeared high in the listings of top comprehensive schools compiled by The Guardian, The Independent and The Times.
